Hello everyone, thank you for joining Take a Fashion Seat. Thank you for being a consistent and amazing listener. So I got some exciting news before I get into the segment. So the segment is about designer shoe brands, but I want to talk about some exciting news. I have been blessed with a website now. So Take a Fashion Seat has a website. So me and a team of people have been helping me put together the website. The website is www.takeafashionseat.com. So it's currently under construction. When it's finished, I'll let you guys know. Um on the website, you'll be able to take advantage of listening to some of the excerpts of segments. You'll be able to look at some trendy photos, classic vintage ones. You'll be able to keep up with the latest um happenings and latest events, um, community service as well as educational news, local and community news. So it'll be something for everyone on the website. The website will be also an opportunity for you to purchase merch, things such as caps, chairs, bags, pens, pencils, etc. But I'll keep you guys posted. I appreciate each of you. So tonight I also wanted to say I'm celebrating four years. Yes, take a fashion seat has been in existence for four years. So August is gonna be huge. I'm gonna go and do, you know, we'll I'll go celebrate somewhere and invite some people and we'll we'll just celebrate the four years together. So I'll keep you post guys posted on the upcoming things that will happen with the celebrations for the podcast. Okay, guys, so let's talk about designer shoe brands. So basically, designer shoe brands range from everyone knows Jimmy Chu, Christian Louberton, Manalo Blonick, Tom Ford, I mean you everyone knows the luxury brands. Bottega, Balenciaga, Gucci, the Nike footwear, Louis Bouton footwear, etc. So it's just Chanel. The designer brands are so amazing. We've we know who the luxury brands are, we know who the designers are, but we like to talk about them and we like to wear their shoes. So I want to talk more deeper about the designer brands. So the most luxury shoe brands that are the most iconic are the ones I just named. They are Salvatore Farragamo, Bruno Cunacelli. I talked about Jimmy too, Manalo, Belonique, Kristen Louiston, Louis Bouton. You also have Bottega Manata, Alexander McQueen, you name it, Gucci. So these are the major ones that you see people running to get the red bottom red bottoms when they dress up and they do black tie and gallows and huge events. Now, affordable luxury shoe brands also are great, so you can get some affordable ones as well from the same ones that I talked about. Gia Vont T Rossi is included. You can also do Stuart Wiseman because I've purchased Stuart Wiseman shoes. Toy Birch, I have a pair of Toy Birch. Now my favorite coach designer shoes are, and they were they were affordable, but I got like what I did was I bought the shoes, and then I went to purchase the purse because I wanted the shoes and the purse to match. I didn't get them as a set, but I wanted them to look like a set. So sometimes when you're dipping and dabbing in fashion, you want to collab with pieces. You can collab with guys. Yes, you can collab with your designer brands. Let's just say that you purchase a pair of Prada shoes, okay? So you want to bag them that so you can go and collab with another type of Prada piece, like you could go and do a Prada purse or Prada top or Prada dress. So you could collab with the designer brands itself, put pieces together as if they came together, but they didn't. You pair them, you can be creative in that way. So keep in mind when you're shopping for designer shoes, the first thing you want to hone in on and be focused, laser focused is comfort. And most designer shoes are not comfortable. We know that, like they're cute, but we go for the cuteness first. Um, but if you want to be specific, you could do you can shop for flat slopers, um, and be specific. You just have to be, it might take you a little longer to do it, but you can do it. Um, so Michael Cords is considered one of the more contemporary lines. They offer like massive varieties of luxury styles, spanning from sporty fashion, you know, sneakers, uh, gold hardware. So Michael Corses is in the run as well. These are more affordable luxury rebrands. Vince Camuto. He focuses on like durability, versatile. He does like leather booties, work ready, um, you know, pumps, and he does like sandals. So you can also do chefs. Chefs is a Brazilian football brand, and chefs do vibrant colors and striking heel shapes, they're cute. Let's talk about Toy Birch. I like love toy birch. So it was two years ago. I mean and a relative, we went to Tyson's Corner. I'm not that far from Virginia. Um, I'm two hours. So if I go to Tyson's Corner, it takes it doesn't even take two hours. It'll take it takes an hour. Maybe an hour and 15 minutes. Yeah, because I'm not deep into Virginia, I'm like right at the outskirts, because I'm in Maryland, so I can get to Tyson's Corner really fast. Probably an hour, 15 minutes. If the traffic is good, even an hour. I love Tyson's Corner. It's like my favorite place to shop, other than New York. Okay, because I love New York. And I love also, you know what I love? My third favorite is Miami, because I love Lincoln Road. I love shopping in Miami too. So, I mean, I got my little favorite spots, iconic spots. Atlanta has a lot of areas too that I like as well. California, I love Rodale Drive. Um, also, you know, you I mean there's places you can go. There's um favorite malls in LA where you can do upscale shopping. Um, they have maybe two or three of those that you can, you know, tap into when you go to California. So they're like my favorite places for shoes. Now, let's continue to talk about designer shoes. Now, Gucci is very, very is a very famous powerhouse footwear company. They do a lot of iconic and contemporary luxury shoes and sneakers. So Gucci is just like in right there at the top. Like, if you want to talk about the top, Gucci is there. Gucci has all of the designer looks that you're into the more like in the no looks like oh, I'm gonna do my Gucci, my Prada, I'm gonna do my, you know, Ralph Lauren, I'm gonna do my Prada, my Fergamo, you know, they're right there. So your bottega. Botega is like right there. Okay, so I'm gonna dive deeper into an article about by editorialists. It was 13 designer shoes. So this is what they talked about. So this was by Shelby Ying Hyde, who's amazing, and she wrote an amazing article about the 13 pair that she felt was um this what elevate just drive. So she started off by saying, thanks to social media, designer visibility is at an all-time high, which can make finding the fashion brands worth having on your radar. Because you can go and just go right into your phone and just start typing, type away with whoever you feel like you want to purchase, and why? I mean, you can do Milano Blinik, Giovanni Rossi, you could just do Amina Moody, Match and Match. Um, and places that you can get these shoes is places like Netta Porter, Farfetch. These are places that you can get these designer brands, or you can just literally go to like when I go to Tyson's Corner, I like Bloomendale's straightforward. Let me tell you where I'm going first. Before I go anywhere, when I go to Tyson's, it's Bloomendale's. Second, y'all know my favorite store on earth. No store is above this store, and that is Macy's. I love them more because I grew up with them. I grew up shopping there. Like, that's my favorite. When I wanted to, you know, get something really nice. I wanted like I wanted nice shoes. Like, I always like I got my shoes has to be like 150, 150 bucks. Like, I I've my shoes must be expensive because your feet is important. So Macy's was my go-to for the shoes. So I love Macy's. Um I love and I like to go in their jewelry department, so I like they fine jewelry too. I love to just go and see what's going on. Man, I like to go up in the house with departments. I just love Macy's. Macy's is my favorite. So when I go to Tyson's, I do Bloom and Dale's Macy's. I like Tiffany and Company's, they're down there as well. And there's a whole bunch of other amazing high-end stores. Um, Lululemon. I mean, they're everybody's there. Like, Tyson Corner has everyone. You the only thing with Tyson's is they're overpriced at a manor. Like, for instance, we were hungry, so we were like, well, we went to California Pizza earlier. And then when we were about to leave, we were like, let's grab a sandwich and go. So we were right beside like a McDonald's. Okay, so let me tell y'all about the McDonald's at Tyson's. The Big Mac was $9.99. Like, why is it $9.99 for this? Like, it the prices are just jacked up, and it's just like, I'm like, oh my gosh. So everything is just jacked up, like extra three to three to ten dollars. So when you go to Tyson's Corner, be prepared to put out extra funding, you know. It's it's that way. I mean, it's a beautiful place to shop. I love every floor, every store. I mean, I just love it. So check it out when you get a chance. If you come to Virginia, go to Tyson's Corner, it's amazing. So back to the shoes. The first pair they displayed was on the website of well, yeah, editorial list. This article was the Gia Vito Rossi. Very cute, elegant peep toe shoes. And I'm also looking at some puddle boots by Bottega Venata. Cute, you gotta see them. Perfect puddle boots. Now, my dream puddle boot is I want them to make the ones that you can like either pull together or zip. I want that, I don't like to stick my foot down in like the thick rubber, and then it just feels like something's grabbing my legs. I don't I I'm waiting. Maybe I'll design them. We'll we'll see. But we need some puddle boots that's more easier for people to put on. I don't like putting my foot like it's something that we need to research, guys. The next shoe is the Manolo Blanc, they're cute. Jimmy Chew. You know, you could do Jimmy Chew for weddings, events, fashion shows. Jimmy Chew is everything. Um Nina Mudal. Um, I'm looking at the 90 millimeter bagum glass shoes, they're so elegant. Um, Renee Cavilia. Now the shoes are beat it and brought it, and they're like $3,000. So, like I'm telling you now, the shoes are so, I mean, they're handmade, they're beautiful. You gotta see them. Go on there and look, you're gonna say, wow. Um, now the Tega Inception came in 1966. It's an Italian luxury house, it's a powerhouse, and um, it wasn't until Daniel Lee's reign as a creative director from 2018 to 21 that the brand footwear became a staple in every fashion girl's wardrobe. So everybody has a pair of botgers, right? Don't you have a pair of botagers? I hope you do. So shop botega, because they're cute and they look comfortable too. I don't have a pair of botagers, but I would like to get a pair, it's on my list. So, guys, um, Stuart Wiseman. I always saw Stuart Wiseman as like a wedding shoe, more so something like uh going to the symphony. I mean, that's how I look at Stuart Wiseman for like a the older crowd. Um, but they do have some amazing boots. Um, I like their tape boots. Check those out when you get a chance. The tape boots are cute, um, and they also have the Hudson lace-up boots, they're cute as well. So they do have some um tech-oriented, beautiful boots to adore now. So also shop now Nalibi. Nalaby is an amazing, elegant shoe brand who carry things like pumps, pitos, mules. So check out Nala Bee when you get a chance. Manolo Bonique, we talked about them. Remember the famous curry bread shop from Sex in the City. She that's when those shoes just became the it, and everyone went and purchased them. They're cute, elegant, and you can get them in different colors. So gotta love it. Also, guys, gotta love Jimmy Choo. Jimmy Choo is epic, iconic, and a heritage. Um the brand was founded in 1996. In the years, Sarah Jessica Parker always started curry um with the footwear, so she also wore Jimmy Chew. That's another cute brand. I do own a pair of Jimmy Chew shoes, and I have the bag. So gotta love it. Next, let's talk about Amina Moodle. Well, moody, um, cute detail shoes, party girl ecstatic. That's what the vibe I'm getting. Pointed toes. I mean, you can also get the moose. The moose are cute because the heel bends backwards, but you can work walk in them because it's like you're standing, it looks it's like a table, like a carpenter, literally put the shoe together. That's how it looks. It's so amazing, and you gotta see the nine 95 millimeter Lori sandals, like the strap goes round and round and round and round. It seems like the strap goes round and round and round all the way up the leg. So, and another favorite, guys, is Aquazor. The designer brand is known and coveted by the masses because of Edgardo. Oh, sorry, his love for the sea and the sun makes those shoes a must have. Put them in your closet, guys. Go buy a pair, they're so nice. I'm looking at a pair of Aqua Zors now, the peep toes with straps, um, and the stilettos. I mean, these shoes are the hottest date night action, like on Star Wars. So if you want to go on a date, purchase Aqua Zora. I mean, it's they're just so cute, so nightlife look. Like it's just beautiful. Okay, guys, let's talk about Gia Borghini. Gia Borghini is a model and a guest designer, Rosie Huntington Whitley, is almost always seen wearing their shoes. They found it in 2016 by Barbara Buggini and Gia Buggini. The brand has collaborated with influencer Pernelli Tisback. So they're on the pulse of what the style set wants. So their footwear is beautiful, and you can get flats, the sandals are rocking, you would love them on the beach, walking on the boardwalk, kicking up puddles of water if it's raining, just dynamic. So make make and make or match and match. Um, it's candy colored, beautiful, and they're limited selections, um, they're available everywhere. You can get them at Not A Porta, Nordstrom's Farfetch. So check them out, guys. They look like candy, like when if you buy different colors, you they look like in your closet, like candy is laying on the floor. That's how elegant they are. So gotta love me to meet. And you can get them off far fetch as well, guys. So next, let's talk about Balenciaga. So between Kim Kardashian and Alexa Deamy at Kanye West, Balenciaga's having a major moment and has been for some time. Um, they've been through, you know, the I don't want this brand. Um, they stood there, they didn't flinch, they they're still available. The store is still there, and whether you like them or not, they Balenciaga is here to say. They survived something so terrible, and that's not what the podcast is about, but they if you like Balenciaga, they have some amazing, trendy, beautiful shoes that's available 2026. Next 11 Gia Venti Rossi. Um, the designer Sergi L. Rossi's shoemaking runs um in the family, and they um they try to please their the people that buy from them. They have amazing peep toes and mule looks, they even have cute pumps, so gotta love them. 12 Rebecca Allen. Every well-dressed woman should purchase a pair of Rebecca Allen's. And 13, um, the last one we'll discuss is Renee Cavila. Um, her shoes are luxury, they have the wraparound Clio styles, um, they're the epitome of luxury. So I hope you enjoyed the podcast tonight. Um, I wanted to just discuss designer shoes. I'm looking at a pair of the Renee Cavalli's. Oh my gosh, they look like the earrings that like I have um glam hoops because I like glam on my eyes, glam on my my ears. I like shiny things. So I'm looking at these strappy shoes. They look like they wrapping around her ankles and on up the leg. That's how beautiful they are. I'm gonna have to post these because this they received a million views. Go to Renee Cavalli. Oh my gosh, those shoes, go check it out when you get off this podcast tonight. You're gonna be like, wow, Mr. Niece, these are nice. Gotta go check them out, guys. So thank you for listening to the podcast tonight. Um, I got some upcoming, exciting guests coming on for the summer. They're coming on very soon, and I got a book for the fall. So we're gonna do some in-person, hopefully, this summer, if all goes well. But definitely the website is up, and definitely in a couple of weeks, you'll see some merchandise that you can get, and you'll can enjoy the website just as much as you can enjoy listening. Hopefully, one day, my dream is a studio that's coming as well. That's gonna be huge. That'll be probably the final move, a studio, maybe two or three of them. One in Maryland, my dream is New York in California. Gotta love take a fashion seat. Thank you for listening, guys. Have a great evening.
