SPEAKER_01Great. So let's catch up. What have you been doing for the past year?
SPEAKER_00Well, I graduated college and then I started working my first professional job.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00That's pretty much it. Just kind of living life.
SPEAKER_01So you um what college did you um graduate from?
SPEAKER_00I went to Sienna College in upstate New York.
SPEAKER_01Um, what was that like? Sienna College.
SPEAKER_00I was working full-time actually at Urban Outfitters while I was in college, so I didn't have the typical college experience. I wasn't like on campus very much, but it was still fun. It was great to further my education.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So did you were you so what was it like working for Urban Outfitters? Because I love that place.
SPEAKER_00It was great. It's it was nice to have a little bit of a discount because the clothing is so expensive. Yes. Um, but it was fun. I really got to express my style and wear these fun outfits.
SPEAKER_01Awesome. So, what was it like graduating from college?
SPEAKER_00It was exciting. It was kind of scary because I was like, I don't know what I'm gonna do next.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00It was a good step.
SPEAKER_01Okay, thank you for sharing that. Okay, so we're gonna I want to talk about fashion. So when did you start loving fashion? Like, when did it start?
SPEAKER_00As a kid for sure, maybe around third grade. I have this one memory as a kid being in third grade and going to Target and looking for these bright blue jeans, and my dad was like, those are crazy, and I was like, No, they're fashionable. Oh wow. As a kid, I was always interested in fashion.
SPEAKER_01Alright, so can we peek into your closet? What do you have for us tonight?
SPEAKER_00Well, I'm gonna show you three different pieces.
SPEAKER_01Okay, great.
SPEAKER_00This is one of my favorite mother jackets. It's a brown mother, and it has these fun strings on the bottom of it.
SPEAKER_01Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00And then the sleeves have like a lacing a bit.
SPEAKER_01I love that. Look at that. Can you try in one for us?
unknownYes.
SPEAKER_01That would be great. Yes, because I love that. Okay. Look at this, guys. We got Beckett tonight, and he's trying on his leather jacket.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yes, we can see it. Turn around, let me see the back. That is nice. Yes, thank you for sharing.
SPEAKER_00Of course.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so who is the jacket by um Zara? Okay, very nice. Like, love that. Okay, you're gonna show us something else? Yes, I have two more.
SPEAKER_00This is a nice rugby shirt. I've been really into the rugby shirt sleeves.
SPEAKER_01And rugby is the trend. I wanted you to say that that's the trend this season. The rugby is the trend, yes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, wow. And then these little different color sleeves that match the colour.
SPEAKER_01Oh, and who is that by?
SPEAKER_00This is Zara too, actually.
SPEAKER_01So we can so we know who you like. Where do you like to shop? So name some of the places you like to shop.
SPEAKER_00Um, I've been really into a ritzia. Have you heard of Aritzia?
SPEAKER_01I've never heard of them. Okay.
SPEAKER_00That one's a bit expensive, but I like it there. I like Abercrombie, aloe, Lululemon, and of course Zara.
SPEAKER_01So, really with the Lululemon, when you go in there, where's the first aisle you go to? Like for Lululemon? Um, the shorts. I like the shorts. Okay, because people say that it's really a great place to shop. So, what is the unique um thing about going into Lululemon?
SPEAKER_00I think with Lululemon, it's all about the quality. I think the quality is really high, and I think that um it's a little bit expensive, but I think you know you're getting a product that'll last you.
SPEAKER_01Oh, great, great. Thank you for sharing. All right, so the next question is um who is your favorite designer?
SPEAKER_00Um, my favorite designer of all time, I think, would be Alexander McQueen. I think that he has really fun, innovative designs. Obviously, he's no longer with us in the world. No, he's not. I think his time was so impactful in fact.
SPEAKER_01What was your favorite piece that he um what's mine? Yeah. Um, probably shouldn't now, because I'm more like um very conservative. So I would think it would be should now, and if I'm gonna be a little while, it would be Versace.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so that yeah, those two. But other than that, I'm real conservative. I like kind of like stay within like a business look, more conservative looks. I can be risky at times, but I always keep it classy, no matter what. Exactly. That's how you do it. Yes. Um, where do you get your fashion inspiration?
SPEAKER_00Um, I'm a Pinterest a lot. Pinterest in TikTok. I like to see what people are doing. I like to explore different countries, what they're doing, see what they're doing in Europe. I find that that kind of tends to be the trend. It was like Europe will come over here. Um yeah, Pinterest and TikTok.
SPEAKER_01Pinterest and TikTok. Good and good answer. Um, if you could fly anywhere today, where would you go and why?
SPEAKER_00Oh, I really want to go to Thailand. I think it's so beautiful there, and I think the culture is just magnificent. I'd really like to indulge myself in their culture and learn more about it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, wow.
SPEAKER_00What about you?
SPEAKER_01Um, I think if I could travel wherever I wanted today, it would be uh European vacation. Because um I love the whole culture of um going across France because I would like to go to visit the Mediterranean, which I want to go to a place called Nice. Have you ever heard of Nice, France? No, but that's yes, Nice, France, and I want to go visit um England, of course. Uh I want to do Germany and some other uh European countries, but I got two that's equal. So I want to do Europe and also Africa. So it's two international trips that I would like to take.
SPEAKER_00Yes. You're gonna have to let me crash all these trips.
SPEAKER_01I want to that's my dream. Like I they they're on my list, and I plan to go. So maybe we could all hang out together.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_01Alright, so um, so I learned um that you are a cat lover. Tell us a great story about your cat.
SPEAKER_00Oh, my little cat, his name is Norman. He's just the sweetest cat ever. He loves to cuddle, he loves to be pet. I don't know if I have a super fun story about him, but something cute about him is that he will always wait outside my door and just meow until I let him in until it's cuddle time.
SPEAKER_01Oh, so do you is he around now?
SPEAKER_00He's upstairs.
SPEAKER_01Oh, because we could have had him, we could have had him interview tonight. So he got sick the other day. Is he okay?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's okay now. He was a little under the weather, but everything's situated in the doctor said he's healthy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, thank you for sharing that. Okay, so uh this is um off the record, but how does it feel living upstate New York?
SPEAKER_00Um, it's good. I like it. It's not necessarily my dream place, but it's different.
SPEAKER_01Good. Um, are you a nature lover?
SPEAKER_00Yes, I do like nature.
SPEAKER_01That's good. Um one more question about New York. Have you ever visited the Ander, how do you pronounce it? The Anderronics. The Adironds, yes.
SPEAKER_00No, I actually haven't.

SPEAKER_00I've never skied in my life.
SPEAKER_01Okay, what about have you visited the um the waterfall up there, Niagara Falls?
SPEAKER_00Niagara Falls, no.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh, you gotta do it.
unknownSo it's a bit of a hike.
SPEAKER_01It's a bit of a hike. Okay. So thank you. You would love to. You gotta do that as well. All right, so do you cook? A little bit, yeah. And what's your favorite thing to cook?
SPEAKER_00I really like making salmon. I like to make a salmon dinner. Um, my family loves that too.
SPEAKER_01And you like baking cookies. You forgot to add that. Yes, I remember the last interview. He Beckett loves to bake cookies, so guys, you you would you hit that's one of his favorite desserts.
SPEAKER_00The way to my heart is through cookies and cake.
SPEAKER_01All right, you hear that? Everybody hear that? Beckett likes cookies, so when you go and you ever meet him, make sure you're coming with cookies. Um so we talked about college already, and um so where do you see yourself in five years?
SPEAKER_00In five years, I think I'd like to be a marketing manager at a nonprofit. Hopefully, something that helps the community a little bit. I want to balance my knowledge and expertise and skill with something that serves the community.
SPEAKER_01I like that. So, what are your favorite charities?
SPEAKER_00Um, a local one I really like is a Southend Children's Cafe. That's a nonprofit that serves underprivileged youth. I really like anything with animals, especially. Any humane societies are great, and I really value the work they do for the community. And anything that supports adults with disabilities, I think is really important too.
SPEAKER_01Thank you for sharing that. Um and lastly, where can people find you on the social media?
SPEAKER_00Um, they can find me on TikTok and Instagram at Beckett Wineline. That's B-E-C-K E-T-T W-E-I-N-L-E-I-N.
SPEAKER_01And I gotta put this in because I love it. When I first came into the Zoom, I saw that your haircut has changed. Tell us about the new haircut. I love it.
SPEAKER_00Thank you. I love it too. It's curly now, so I got it nice and curly, and then I have highlights, blonde highlights in it.
SPEAKER_01Now, who did it? Like, I we want to know.
SPEAKER_00I had two people do it. I had someone do the highlights and then someone did the pearls.
SPEAKER_01Oh wow, that is so nice. Where did you get the inspiration for the hair do?
SPEAKER_00Um, I just thought I've always liked curly hair, and my hair is like pinned straight, so I was like, I'm gonna try something different, and I just love it.
SPEAKER_01I love it too. Well, Beckett, thank you for joining me tonight. And the next time, guess what? It'll be a paid interview because Take a Fashion Seat is growing.
