Hello everyone. Thank you for listening to Take a Passion Seat. So in a few days it'll be my birthday. So I want to talk about St. Patrick's Day green look. So I get excited every year because I was born on St. Patrick's Day. Nothing to do with the whole country. Nothing to do with the name of the holiday. But I was born that day. So I take great joy and excitement in celebrating it. So every year I had to go in my closet and put together a week worth of green looks. So it's like, oh my gosh, like this green thing again this year. So it's exciting. But I've never done a podcast on green looks. Like green with envy. So tonight let's talk about where you can buy green fashion, St. Patrick's Day looks. So for those of you who love holidays and like to get into the festive aspect of dressing, and some people they do every holiday. So a lot of people on St. Patrick's Day, it's an Irish holiday, by the way. And the Irish love to party and they love their green beer. So get ready, guys, for those who drink. I don't drink, but I do celebrate the holiday because it's my birthday. So places that you can get amazing green fashion is, and it's a whole bunch of them, and we'll get into it. So a few places for now, like where you can get everyday fashion, just some green tops, trousers, skirts. Uh Zara has some cute things. Stacy's um is another place you can get green looks. JCPenney, you can go online. You can't, I don't think there's a lot of JC Penny stores like they used to be, but you can shop online. Um, it's a store called Maybury. They have like more elegant looks. If you like if you're going out um maybe happy hour, you're going out later, you might want to do um that store. Like I said, Zara has like a whole bunch of like emerald green, they have like mint green, you can get hunter green, there's various colors now. In Maryland, like out in Baltimore County, there's a place called K, which I'm planning on going to shop this spring because they got amazing spring looks. KG has a lot of green clothing. Um, it's a place called Pretty Woman. They also have green looks. HM, guys, you can go to HM. There, I'm looking at their outfits. They got like Hunter, um, Emerald Green, um, even Old Navy and Fashion Nova. These are places where you can get um green fashion. Now, Walmart too. Walmart has a lot of green and coals. You can also go to rainbow shops as well. These if you're just looking for like something fun to put on. Now, if you want to spend a little more money, you want to go to Nordstrom's and Macy's, and um there's you anthropology has some really amazing green outfits that you could buy, so it's like a plethora of where you can buy um the green looks. Now, there's also the aspect of ages because you can get green fashion everywhere, but if you're looking for a specific, you know, type, you gotta go by age as well. So when you go in the store, go in the section that reflects the type of fashion that you like. So, green fashion is also sustainable, um, produced and marketed. You want it to be environmentally and socially responsible. So if you are into the earth and saving our planet, you want to get eco-friendly material like hemp, recycle polyesters, and you know, brands that practice ethic labor. You know, like don't we don't want things that shouldn't happen to take place when it comes to fashion. So eco-friendly is basically utilizing fabrics like in a sustainable way. Um the fabrics that are eco-friendly are like silks, linens, cotton, and the more innovative and lab-grown textiles. So that's what you want to look for. Um ethical conditions, make sure they don't come from places where um there's like young people working. Um, you want to make sure it's safe in working conditions and fair wages. They of are of age and that they can work. Um, so look for key brands that are eco-friendly when it comes to fashion. So that's just, you know, I mean, just putting it out there because I love sustainable fashion. Now I'm looking at this cute. Oh my gosh, guys, you're gonna love this. Go to Alice and Olivia Women's at Saks Fifth Avenue. Everybody should go get that little dress. It is so cute, it's sleeveless, and it's like a midi, and it's very cute, like you would love it. So that's somewhere that you could go get a cute green dress. Now I'm looking at I'm also because there's so many options, but you can also do green light fashion, green cosmetics as well, um, to match your outfits. So try to pair your outfits with like green makeup, like the eyeshadows, guys, basically. And I don't know about green lips, but you could do your eyes at least. And we talked about Zara, who has some cute stuff as well. Um, satin outfits and Lululus, too. You could get Lulu's or Paddle and Pop, they have it. Greenhouse fashion, they have a lot of eco-friendly looks. So go to green fashion now. Like I said, if you want to spend a little more money and you want to be um a little more sophisticated, you could do Nordstrom's and Harpers Bazaar. The green is greening. I'm looking at the outfits, the coats, the jackets. They have olive green. So the olive green is so pretty, you would love it. Um, Agra Crombie and Fitch has some amazing looks. I'm even looking at uh, let me tell y'all, a Matte Green Toy Birch tote. Can you believe it, guys? It's so beautiful. Toy Birch has an amazing green tote, and I'm gonna put it um with my um fashion videos because it's so cute. I gotta show you guys that. And then um Nike has a pair of green tennis shoes. I'm gonna post those as well so you guys can see them before the show. So if you looked at the videos before the show, you would have seen that I showed the Toy Birch bag and the green, like they're not mid-green. The tennis shoes are like a hunter green, but you gotta see that toy birch green. Oh my gosh, green with envy. So there was like plenty of other places that you can get. Um now let's get into the green fashion designers because every designer doesn't do green because of the colors. I mean, it's it's it's it's gotta be hard because it requires dye. So you gotta look at you know the green fashion. So let me just talk about some of the green fashion designers. I mean, they did they're leading sustainable fashion, but they're doing it in an organic way, bringing you green um in a sustainable way, and they are Mar Hoffman. So if you want to get these people brands who are saving the planet, do Ma Hoffman, Stella McCartney, Gabrielle Hertz. I love her guys, uh, Eileen Fisher, and you can do Christopher Rayburn. They're fashion, they do some amazing fashion and green. You could do Yale Yelly Stitches and Strictly Fashionable and Jemadu. They do some green and they're sustainable as well. Um, so if you want to do green, try them. They're you know, they do fun, sexy, and environmentally green looks. Now, John Eric Home magazine did an article on, and I want to get into it. The green designers you need to know. So let's get into it, guys. And this is um an article that was written. So let's just talk about it a little bit. So the best sustainable brands create beautiful, basically beautiful looks. Um, and this is what they're saying. They feel you know responsible towards the environment and you know the population. So fashion designers um create luxurious shoes, bags, apparel, accessories, and jewelry. Um, and they understand, you know, what's trendy and what's not. So you have to basically when you are looking into finding like designers, look for the ones that try to look for the ones to do like sustainable. And John R. Um Home Magazine did an article on it. Now, let me see if I can dive deeper. I'm trying to dive deeper. Okay, Vivian Westwood. I I was able to dive deeper because it keeps taking me to another, like it's trying to get me to you know how the pop-ups pop up. So as I'm talking to to you guys, I keep getting the pop-ups, but Reformation is one of them. Vivian Westwood, um, even Gucci, um Marnie, Jill Sanders, Botega Venata, Stella McCartney. We talked about her earlier. I told you about them, and then I didn't tell you about Amari is one. So Amari is a luxury fashion label that design sustainable menswear, women's wear, accessories, and shoes. Um, if you want to stand out, go on their webpage. You will love their sustainable looks, the synthetic regenerated fibers made from renewable materials. So you would love, I mean, the designer label invests in like friendly materials that are environmentally sustainable in their supply chain. So check check them out when you get a chance. And I talked about Gabriella Hurst, she does ready to wear, she creates beautiful collections of sustainable luxury for longevity. So you want like classical pieces, do Gabriella Hearst. Also, do Maggie Merlin, she's a New Zealand designer, and she makes clothes that are enriched, um like like planet-based, earth-like luxury looks. Stella McCartney, we all know her, she does accessories for kids, women, and men. And she does swimwear, underwear, accessories, the the basics, and she aims to do sustainable wear as well. Um, she even did the house use sustainable materials, organic cottons, and high-quality material and fibers. So, and fabrics, so check out. Um, the last one I want to talk about is bother Venata. So there's um Renzo Zigaro, who founded the luxury brand and Michelle Atati, and they're headquartered, of course, in Milan, Italy. And they do craftsman work, so you know if you're doing botaga, you're gonna get something very rich, lavish, and luxury-oriented. So you gotta love it. So tonight was a short podcast. Um, I have some special guests coming up over the next couple of weeks. I'm even trying to book um an RB celebrity. So we got some good stuff coming up, guys. But um, thank you for listening to the podcast tonight. Um, gotta love Take a Fashion Seat. Stick with me, guys. This podcast is going places. You just have to crawl before you walk. But so, but thank you for listening to Take a Fashion Seat. I hope you enjoy your fantastic and wonderful evening. Thanks again for listening.
